Methods

The Rio Puerco y Jemez Alliance utilizes a range of restoration methods to address erosion, help the landscape and soil retain water, slow down and spread out water as it falls onto and flows over the land. We work with our partners to install structures and use methods which identify the areas where erosion is starting to occur and where erosion mitigation will have ripple effects downstream - our form of dryland acupuncture!
